2 Week Puppy Portraits
Our gang was 2 weeks old on Saturday...and they have had a busy week. Earlier in the week they got their first nail trim... 144 teeny tiny nails trimmed without too much fuss. They are also starting to learn to go in their "designated potty area". I am so happy about this - It won't be long before they all catch on. Our goal is have them all used to going in a designated spot - so when they get to their new homes they will be ready to go (where they are supposed to!). They are starting to move around really well, responding to our voices and beginning to play with one another. Each day they are exposed to new smells and early scent stimulation, textures, and sounds in addition to their early neurological stimulation protocol. We have a steady stream of people in and out of our house...so they have met a group of senior citizens this week...as well our neighbor's girls who come over with their friends to visit and play. I hold them...well all the time, since I can't resist them and we are also doing a little bit of bottle feeding just to give Biddy a break...since 9 is a pretty large group to feed!!

11 Days Old - Puppy Pictures

It has been a busy week for the puppies ~ New experiences and smells every day. They have been up on the grooming table a few times this week to see what that feels like, they go through all the steps of the Early Neurological Stimulation protocol each day, they have hopped in the scale, had their pictures taken and been introduced to a few new smells as well. They are really starting to move around and climb over some of the soft things in the whelping box. Tomorrow we will tackle the trimming their nails which will now become part of their routine. I can't wait until they all get their eyes open!!!!

Puppy Love
The puppies are 1 week old today! They have all more than doubled their weight since birth and are getting really nice and chubby.
They are scooting around pretty good and are using their sense of small and touch to find what they are looking for...which is Mom, milk and the warmth of the puppy pile!
